Funny, theatrical and moving Dance Theatre. Entertainers Wanted (Bettina Strickler) takes a witty view of the occasionally murky memories of these fabulous dancers. Before You Can Run (Lost Dog) combines dance, text and live folk music. A group of strangers meet and share a dance in this darkly humorous work. Any Queen celebrates the career of mature dance pioneer Ann Dickie.
Showtime (Leap Of Faith) is the guest piece inspired by sweeping tunes, chorus lines and happy endings

The HotPots present Spare Tyre
Dates: Monday, 9th July

A theatre performance by The Hotpots.
The HotPots are all aged between 60 and 85 and perform work, often from personal experience, using hmour about the treatment of elders. They are passionate about the wrongs suffered by older people in society and have found drama as a way to express those ills and to educate audiences about the potential of older people.

East End Opera in association with Theatre Venture are delighted to present soprano Lucy Taylor and pianist Siobhan O’Higgins in concert with the Age-Well singers. Join these talented musicians in a programme of well-known opera, classical and popular songs. Audience participation essential!

Capital Age Festival Dance Workshop

Be centre stage at London’s liveliest Arts Festival. We are looking for dance enthusiasts to create and perform this summer.
Have fun, be festive and famous, as long as you are over 55 you are welcome.
You will need to be free between 13th and 19th August inclusive and perform the work at the Capital Age Festival.
